Summary: A blind flautist, chained in the dungeon, sings of his story.
Tsertsvadze captures the reader’s heart and pulls it through a picturesque, yet eventually chilling, setting. Hints of an “old world spirit” are strewn through her words and there is a sense of sharing a language hardly used, or heard, in today’s culture. Absolutely beautiful. CZ
